Luana Yeung is a special projects employee supporting the GGI’s Utility Analysis & Reduction program. She previously served as a senior intern supporting the Go Green Initiative’s 2021 Multi-City Internship and was a three-year participant in the internship program. She enjoyed the opportunity to guide interns from cities across California and Illinois as they research and develop outreach materials to encourage residents and businesses to comply with composting and recycling regulations.
Luana is a student of UC Davis, where she is majoring in Managerial Economics. She hopes to pursue an emphasis in Environmental and Resource Economics, and she continues to take initiative on a wide variety of sustainability efforts, especially through policy changes and renewable energy. She looks forward to continuing her work at the GGI to promote environmental justice and protection.
