Megan Sloan

Megan Sloan is a sophomore at Amador Valley, and part of the Local Leaders of the 21st century club. Passionate about her community, she advocates for student voice through many district committees and initiatives, as well participating in the school leadership class as the Sophomore Class President. She is also a Teen Conservation Leader for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which has helped her further explore her interests in the conservation of the oceans, sustainable seafood, and waste management. As an intern at the Go Green Initiative, she is working to expand her knowledge of sustainability and the develop the necessary skills to make purposeful change.
