Lauren Londoño

As Cohort Program Coordinator, Lauren supports low-income and Tribal K–12 school districts in implementing sustainable Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reduction plans. She combines grassroots experience with systems thinking to advance scalable strategies that reduce environmental impact and improve the health and well-being of school communities.

Lauren’s environmental journey began in high school, when she worked with the Go Green Initiative as an intern and member of the Local Leaders of the 21st Century Club. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a minor in Political Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where she led campus sustainability initiatives, implemented energy efficiency projects, and helped elevate student voices in sustainability efforts.

Driven by a passion for equitable systems and policy, Lauren earned her Master of Environmental Science and Management from the UC Santa Barbara Bren School, specializing in Business and Sustainability with a focus on Environmental Communication and Innovation. She brings a collaborative spirit and strategic mindset to building healthier, more sustainable communities for future generations.
