The Go Green Initiative is proud to announce the addition of Michelle Sim to our board of directors!
Our newest member of the Go Green Initiative board of directors, Michelle Sim, has worked in the energy industry since 2002.
Michelle is currently the Director of Sustainability at SoCalGas, and has been with the company for 8 years. Michelle said she was first introduced to GGI early in 2021, “Jill Buck approached me to be a guest on her radio show, Go Green Radio, to talk about sustainability. In our conversation, she shared the Go Green Initiative and I instantly knew that GGI’s core mission in environmental justice for children is a passion we shared.”
From 2002 to 2008, Michelle worked as an Energy Specialist for the Los Angeles Unified School District, combining her expertise in green energy and commitment to upholding education system standards. With experience in both environmental work and education, Michelle shares that, “GGI’s vision and values resonated with me as someone working in sustainability and as a past educator.”
